Abstract
This article (1) has been retracted at the request of the authors. There are concerns about the reliability of certain data arising from errors in the assembly of Fig. 2. In Fig. 2A, the same image was used in lanes 2-5 to represent lkBa in cells treated with SGN-40 and in lanes 1-4 to represent lkBa in cells treated with sCD40L. In Fig. 2B, the same image was used in lanes 2 and 5 to represent pAKT in distinct samples and treatment conditions. The authors apologize to the scientific community, deeply regret any inconveniences or challenges resulting from the publication and subsequent retraction of this article, and have implemented various quality checks to avoid a future recurrence. A copy of this Retraction Notice was sent to the last known email addresses for 13 of the 14 authors. Seven authors (Yu-Tzu Tai, Constantine S. Mitsiades, Klaus Podar, Dharminder Chauhan, Kenji Ishitsuka, Steven P. Treon, Kenneth C. Anderson) agreed to the retraction; 6 authors (Renate Burger, Reshma Shringpaure, Teru Hideshima, Makoto Hamasaki, Paul Richardson, Nikhil C. Munshi) did not respond; the one remaining author (Laurence P. Catley) is deceased.
