Abstract
This study explores the use of hydrophilic ionic liquids for lysis of Aspergillus niger and Trichoderma reesei conidia and mycelium to provide DNA suitable for PCR-based assays, demonstrating their potential as simple, cost-effective, and gentle lysis agents and potentially enabling rapid DNA extraction for diverse molecular applications.
