Abstract

The text thematizes dimensions of the acting of psychotherapists along a case vignette in which a call for Covid vaccination posted in the practice rooms triggered the patient to break off psychotherapy. Different levels of responsibility of psychotherapists are shown: acting on an individual level in contact with the patient, acting on a societal level—or their inclusion in therapeutic considerations. Finally, the resulting aspects for the training of psychotherapists. By showing these different perspectives, the complexity and plurality of psychotherapeutic fields of action and approaches should be made visible.
