Project Details

Description

In the exploratory study of patients with depression aged 18 to 35 years, the aim is to investigate whether the consumption of series with different emotional valence (sad, funny, action-packed) influences mood and depression symptoms. The participants are divided into three groups and watch series over a period of 10 days, while their mood and depression symptoms are recorded before and after the intervention and after each series episode. Additional data such as emotion regulation, socio-demographic information and media consumption will also be collected. The results could lead to important recommendations for improving the mood and quality of life of peole with depression.
