Project Details
Description
This exploratory study examines the trajectories and treatment pathways of psychiatric patients in the transition age group (ages 18 to 25) following their discharge from inpatient care at UK Tulln. To achieve this, an extensive battery of questionnaires with a wide range of validated scales is completed by usage of the Computer-based Health Evaluation System (CHES) within one week of admission to the clinic and then again at 2 weeks, 3 months, and 6 months after discharge. Additionally, at each follow-up, participants report if they have received further psychotherapeutic or psychiatric treatment, if there have been any changes in medication, and the levels of needed and received parental support during this time.
